About

Caroline Plambeck

Caroline Plambeck profile photo

I am a qualified counsellor who provides empathetic, confidential, non-judgemental counselling to adults and young people (13+).  I am passionate about working with men, women and young people to explore issues and overcome difficulties to improve their mental wellbeing.

Using my Humanistic Gestalt training I can utilise creative tools to encourage new perspectives and greater understanding of self.  Exploring experiences and recognising the impact on self allows clients to make the changes they wish to make, to live a more authentic and satisfying life.

For clients who want a more solution focussed approach I can work with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy towards a goal.  CBT works well in isolation or in combination with Humanistic Gestalt counselling.

The two different approaches allow me to work in a way which is most appropriate for the client and their wishes for counselling.  I have knowledge and skills to work with everyone as an individual, in a way that will be effective for them.
